{www.bouchard-pereetfils.com/Bouchard Pere et Fils} have been producing wine in Burgundy since 1731 and can count an impressive 12 Grand Cru and 74 Premier Cru vineyards within thedomaine. Viticultural methods have been steered progressively towards the most environmentally respectful methods that in turn help to yield the finest grapes. This philosophy combined with years of experience in harvesting, vinification and the ability to achieve truly harmonious oak-aging all contribute to these truly wonderful wines.

Pommard is the largest of the Cote d`Or villages of BUrgundy and is famed for its potent and robust style of Pinot Noir. The aromas of the bouquet are black cherry, spice and a complex musky earthiness with animalic nuances. On the palate rich and intense red fruit flavours mingle with firm tannins and peppered spice. The finish is a satisfying balnace of sweet fruit combined with savoury notes and touches of leather. To fully appreciate the wine should be permitted to air. Great aging potential.
