The wine is a fantastic example of a well crafted Bordeaux and one that punches well above it`s weight in terms quality compared to others of a similar price tag. The nose is complex with aromas of blackcurrant, steeped red and black fruits combined with spice, cedar, licquorice and smoke. The palate is smooth and velvety yet still elegant rather than being overblown, the lush cherry and berry fruit flavours develop further in the mouth with intriguing notes of cocoa, coffee and tobacco framed by rich tannins.
