The resulting wines and proof of Nicole Chanrion`s success and dedication is clear from the supreme quality of her wines; The Domaine de la Voutes des Crozes Brouilly is a beautifully crafted and deceptively complex red Beaujolais wine, fragrant aromas of steeped strawberry, cherry, currant and smoke waft from the bouquet following through to a vibrant, beguiling palate of abundant berry fruits with a lively acidity and well integrated soft oak combined with subtle cinammon spice. Hints of tea leaves and redcurrant jelly linger in the finish. 2009 was a fantastic vintage and is drinking beautifully now. 100% Gamay The wines of Beaujolais make fantastic food wines as they are so versatile in terms of weight & flavour. Some great matches are chicken & poultry dishes, with roast chicken a classic match, pork dishes, charcuterie (think picnic foods!) & soft cheeses. Other Brouilly wines |
