Years of experience, the wonderful Burgundian terroir & a passion for producing top quality wines means the demand for the Domaines wines is exceptionally high. The Domaine style is centred around maximising the fruit flavours of the Pinot Noir grapes, the result is an intensely perfumed bouquet of red fruit aromas; raspberries, redcurrants & cherries mingle with soft oak & autumnal leaf notes. On the palate the wine is silky, smooth & round in texture yet robust in berry fruit flavours that blend with spiced cedar, hints of pepper & vanilla. The finely enmeshed tannins provide a firm but delicate structure resulting in a perfect harmony of fruit, mellow oak & fine grained tannins, hints of coffee, smoke, plum & fig linger in the finish.
