T. Wright Fine Wine & Spirit Merchant has existed as a wine merchant just outside of Manchester for over a hundred years, since 1896 in fact. We specialise in stocking a huge variety of wines including classic Bordeaux wine from first growths such as Chateau Lafite and Chateau Latour to the near mythical Chateau Petrus and classic Burgundy wine including wines from Pommard, Gevrey Chambertin and Corton Charlemagne, to name but a few of the famous communes of Burgundy.

For over two years now we have been happy to offer our customers the choice to buy wine online as well as the option of visiting the famed T. Wright cellars to browse the many wines we have available; from top rated powerful Amarone such as Tommaso Bussola and brooding Barolo including the famous wines of Gaja and Roberto Voerzio to new world wine icons including fine Australian wine such as the great wines of Penfolds and Henschke or from Cloudy Bay, one of the wineries that blazed the trail for New Zealand wines over recent decades.

We love to source great wines from all over the world; from the ever popular Italian Pinot Grigio to juicy Chilean Merlot, wonderful Chardonnay from Chablis to California, robust Rioja and stunning Sancerre from the Loire valley to the boutique Champagne and fine and rare Whisky online. We believe we have one the largest selections of fine wine online in the UK and remain passionate about finding and sharing fantastic wines with our customers whether they prefer to buy wine online or visit the shop.

Our clients include everyone from those wishing to build their own cellar collection to those who simply want a good bottle of red to go with dinner. We don't agree that a wine has to have a high price tag in order for our customers to like it and we take time and care when tasting the wines we choose to include within our range.
