Classification

Byron was founded by Ken Brown in 1984 on the edge of the Santa Maria Valley in Santa Barbara County with the aim of producing spectacular Californian Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The glorious Californian sunshine and the cool oceanic breezes combine to produce a range of superb wines.

A full bodied supple Pinot Noir produced from grapes grown in the Nielson vineyard planted in 1964. Dary cherry, blackberry, raspberry & plum aromas & flavours combined with oak aged tannins and hints of smoke & peppery spice.
