Direct descendants of the Delamain family remain involved with the House and the desire for excellence remains as fundamental as ever to the House of Delamain. The Eaux de Vie selected by Delamain are produced from grapes grown in the prestigious vineyards of the Champagne Cognac region. Once the selection has been approved there follows a lengthy and intensive ageing, cellaring & blending process. After the final blending has been completed the Cognac is then aged for a further two years in oak casks before careful bottling & labelling. The final & glorious result of these extensive years of knowledge, supreme quality and faultless attention to detail is an exquisite XO Cognac. Amber gold in colour combining powerful intensity of flavour with a refined and elegant structure. Mellow notes of drie d fruit blend seamlessly with notes of vanilla, acacia and delicate hints of licquorice. www.delamain-cognac.fr This glorious Cognac is best served in a large round glass to allow the flavours in the bouquet to fully open up. |
