His knowledge and love of the grape have been passed down to the next generation and are clear to see on tasting these fantastic wines. The Benito Santos Igrexario de Saiar Albarino is produced from a single vineyard and in limited qualities. The bouquet has aromas of white flowers, peach and tropical fruit, sometimes compared to Viognier or Riesling the aromatic Albarino grape has a subtle balance of rich texture and lively acidity. On the palate fresh orchard and tropical fruit flavours are layered with mineralic flinty notes and fragrant spice in the finish. 100% Albarino A great food wine that is both fresh yet well structured and complex, Albarino can pair fantastically well with a broad range of foods from appetizers and salads to fish, seafood, white meat and vegetable dishes including thai and Asian style cuisine.
